Siegwerk employees fulfill children's personal Christmas wishes

Germany

On December 16, the children and young people at the Children's Home Pauline von Mallinckrodt enjoyed a particularly cozy celebration. In the lovingly decorated event room, they drank cocoa and nibbled on cookies while the children created a festive atmosphere with poems they recited, Christmas carols, and music performed by a small group.

The highlight of the afternoon was when Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Owner Alfred Keller and his daughter Maria presented gifts on behalf of the Siegwerk employees. A little anecdote: Ms. Boddenberg, the Director of  children's home, had previously asked the group what Siegwerk does. The first answer was "gifts," followed by "printing inks."

The gifts were given to 19 groups in total, lighting up eyes and building excitement. For the children at Pauline von Mallinckrodt, these gifts are special because they fulfill personal wishes that were lovingly packaged beforehand. The gifts were not unwrapped until Christmas Eve - a moment everyone looked forward to sharing together.

Boddenberg and her team expressed their heartfelt thanks to all Siegwerk employees who made this campaign possible on behalf of the children and young people. The gift presentation shows once again how much joy and appreciation can be found in small gestures and how important it is to give children wishes and special moments.
