Siegwerk Backnang supports local families in need

In cooperation with the local organization Zukunftswerkstatt Rückenwind e.V. (ZWR) which translate as "Future Workshop Tailwind," Siegwerk's Backnang, Germany site has been supporting local children, young people, and their families. The organization has been in operation since 2003. With a wide range of services – from individual counseling to educational and leisure programs and cultural exchange – the association is an important point of contact in Backnang and the surrounding area.

One focus of its work is on providing personal guidance and support to families. This includes individual counseling sessions, language instruction, open group activities, and a children's holiday program during all school vacations.

In order to continue this important work in a mobile, flexible, and reliable manner, the ZWR relies on functioning means of transportation. After 17 years and countless trips—including excursions and leisure activities with children, trips to hospitals, visits to the veterinarian, and many everyday journeys—the previous vehicle had reached the end of its service life.

This is where this year's donation project from Siegwerk Backnang comes in, with the site supporting the purchase of a new vehicle with a donation of EUR 3,000.
