Siegwerk Büdingen supports the local food bank again this Christmas

TAFEL Deutschland is a charitable organization that collects food from retailers and manufacturers and distributes it to people in need in the area around Siegwerk’s Büdingen site. Shortly before Christmas last year, Siegwerkers from Büdingen again helped package food for the less fortunate. 

This important Büdingen food bank currently provides for 1,000 people, a third of whom are children and youngsters.

As part of this social campaign many employees in Büdingen donated non-perishable food and hygiene products. In addition to the donations, the Siegwerk site bought products such as flour, tea, chocolate, pasta and hygiene products from a local supermarket and employees picked them up. This year,  a total of 200 packages were packed by volunteer employees in a period of two hours and handed over to TAFEL. The packages were  distributed to those in need prior to the Christmas holiday. 

The TAFEL employees were happy for Siegwerk's support and were impressed by the teamwork of the site.
