Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Siegwerk

A supportive working environment for your personal growth

At Siegwerk, we are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) as essential factors for creating a respectful and supportive workplace that provides all employees with equal opportunities to personally contribute and grow. For us, expertise knows no gender, cultural background, or any other personal orientation. We appreciate the diverse cultural influences, personal backgrounds, and individual know-how each employee adds to our global family of Siegwerkers – this is what drives us forward.

We are ready to actively tackle change in our organization and globally drive our DE&I agenda. Our agenda focuses on a range of measures, from creating internal awareness for the relevance and benefits of DE&I, through encouraging discussions and increasing transparency to foster reflection of own tendencies and unconscious biases. All with the ultimate goal to continuously drive diversity and ensure equal opportunities for all our employees.

By working in diverse teams, we want to put you in touch with colleagues with multiple personal and professional backgrounds to share your experiences, discuss different perspectives and inspire each other. We support and respect each other, value different opinions and make every voice heard. We want you to feel free to think disruptively and break out of old patterns. Your ideas are the basis for our innovative power. Only together can we develop new approaches to solutions and sustainable innovations.

With women in Leadership

Since April 2022, we are a member of the Germany-based corporate alliance MIT FRAUEN IN FÜHRUNG (With women in Leadership) committed to greater gender diversity at management levels. The local initiative specifically promotes gender parity and career advancement for women in the Cologne region and offers us a unique platform for exchanging experiences on gender-oriented management with other companies from the area.

As a company in a classically male-dominated industry, we know that we need more diversity and more women at all levels. That is why we have set ourselves the goal to double female gender representation at management level by 2025. We are committed to further increase our attractiveness as an employer, especially for female specialists and managers, by providing a working environment in which all those who want to make a career can do so. Here, our membership in the German alliance enables us to not only foster gender diversity at our German locations but also to adapt and quickly roll-out locally relevant initiatives around the world.
