Siegwerk Backnang supports the local community to shape children′s futures

Germany

The nonprofit organization “Zukunftswerkstatt Rückenwind e. V.” supports children, youth, and families through social projects, counseling, and practical assistance. In doing so, it promotes inclusion, participation, and equal opportunity.

With a generous donation of EUR 1,500, or approximately $1,700, Siegwerk Backnang is once again helping to  promote education, social interaction, and future opportunities for young people in the area.

Thanks to this support, the association can achieve even more together with the students by opening up new opportunities, helping young people discover their own abilities, and sparking enthusiasm for the diversity of skilled trades. As part of the “Zukunftswerkstatt Rückenwind e. V.” project, children and young people are introduced to the world of skilled trades. They have the opportunity to learn about various trades, get hands-on experience, and bring their own ideas to life.

Visits to local craft workshops are also part of the program, where youngsters various skilled trades and what exciting career opportunities offered.

The Zukunftswerkstatt Rückenwind e.V project is funded by the Kinderland Foundation, a sub-foundation of the Baden-Württemberg Foundation, as well as the Wiedeking Foundation.
