NOVASPERS wax emulsions are designed for food contact and technical packaging applications, including flexible films and fiber-based substrates. These emulsions are based on a variety of wax chemistries such as LDPE, HDPE, primary PE, maleic grafted PP, paraffin, beeswax, carnauba, and their blends.
The portfolio enables tailored surface and barrier functionalities while maintaining compatibility with water-based coating systems widely used in packaging.

NOVAFLAM flame retardants are used in functional coating applications where enhanced fire resistance is required, supporting safety standards without compromising mechanical or surface performance. Our mineral based products can be used as functional additive in binder systems or on their own where they are typically applied by impregnating the substrate. Our organophosphorus compounds on the other hand have a more reactive working mechanism, which results in a durable and permanent effect.
The latest breakthrough development is our fully aqueous dispersion of micro-encapsulated Red Phosphorous as alternative for Antimony or Organohalogen based chemistries.

ALLICROSS crosslinkers strengthen the polymer network within coatings, improving resistance to water, chemicals and mechanical stress. They are essential where durability under demanding conditions is required.
Our Zirconium based crosslinkers are used as insolubilizer in paper coatings or durability improvers of water based paints, but as well to reduce or eliminate free formaldehyde in formaldehyde based resins, for which there is an ever-growing demand.
