High quality, high productivity
UNICOR Postprint water-based inks from Siegwerk were featured at an open house held by the Bobst Group, a worldwide leading supplier of printing and converting equipment to the packaging industry.
The event attracted big crowds of visitors coming from all over the world, with up to 95 clients per day. The demos offered the opportunity to view numerous high performance printing and converting jobs with the newly launched Bobst Flexo Masterflex-L for in-line manufacture, which prints and die-cuts in a single pass.
The other focus of the Open House was the demonstration of the MARTIN FFG 924 NT machine for printing, slotting and die-cutting in one pass. Printing and die-cutting in a single pass is very productive, making it possible to produce finished packaging faster while also removing intermediate stocks.
Offering even more innovative solutions
All jobs – for six different designs - were run on both pieces equipment with the Siegwerk UNICOR Postprint water-based ink series for corrugated board printing.The delivered finished products combined high quality and high productivity with interesting assets such as stability on press, high colour strength and high speed printing.
