Exchanging knowledge at 9th ProFlex exhibition
At this year’s ProFlex (19 – 20 September in Stuttgart, Germany) Siegwerk’s Flexible Packaging business unit presented its know-how to trade visitors and exchanged knowledge with other experts.
"Proflex offers exchange of knowledge at the highest stage", says Thomas Bastian, Director Marketing Flexible Packaging. “Apart from presenting our business unit, communicating and exchanging ideas with our customers was key at this year's Proflex.”
As in previous years, Proflex was accompanied by a symposium organized by the flexo printing association DFTA. A large audience followed with great interest discussions on topics like ITX or printing inks for food packaging (led by Dr. Jörg Langhammer, Head of Health, Safety & Environment, HSE at Siegwerk) or Dr. Stefan Busse’s (Manager Technology Development Flexible Packaging at Siegwerk) speech on “Functional printing inks for forgery protection and technical applications”.
"In this context we had the chance to present the Siegwerk brand and fulfil the current information needs of customers and strategic partners. Hereby we follow our value to establish long term cooperation with our customers" explains Thomas Bastian.
More than 100 international exhibitors and approximately 1,000 visitors took part in this year’s ProFlex, catching up on various topics and trends in flexo printing.
