Siegwerk Singapore donated used notebook computers to the Loving Heart Multi-Service Center in Jurong East, Singapore. It is a one-stop social service center that strives to help less fortunate residents and students in the community. The old notebooks had their hard discs removed as per corporate policy. These re-conditioned notebooks will be distributed to students from low income families in the neighborhood, to assist them with home-based learning (HBL) programs. Donating these used notebooks not only helps underprivileged children with their e-learning skills, it also gives the retired equipment an extended product life.
Some of the computers will also be used at the service center, for use by senior citizens to navigate online services safely. The Loving Heart Multi-Service center encourages older adults to be more tech savvy in order to keep pace with the community..
