Morganton employees volunteer their time building a home for an area family in need

Siegwerk’s Morganton, North Carolina (NC) facility employees and families spent their free time giving back to the community helping Habitat for Humanity build houses. It is Morganton’s fifth year participating and the first group to officially volunteer for Habitat for Humanity since 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year the group built the front porch deck, the structure to the main bedroom closet and bathroom. Although, it rained the night before it did not stop our Siegwerkers from getting the job done. They swept the rain puddles out the way, pulled out the hammers and got to work.
Habitat for Humanity of Burke County, NC works with inadequately sheltered families to improve the conditions in which they live. Their Habitat homes are custom built to meet the needs of homeowners and our homeowners take an active part in the selection of location, finishes and floor plan.
The sun was shining, the weather was a bit muggy, but it was great time for our Morganton employees and families.
