Together in the fight against youth unemployment

Germany

At JOBLINGE e.V., business, government and private individuals work together to support young people who are facing difficult starting conditions. Our aim is to provide genuine job opportunities and sustainable integration into the labor market and society. Providing the best qualifications, voluntary mentoring and support during training, the initiative achieves outstanding successes for the participants – 70% of young people manage to make the transition into employment. For the integration of young refugees, JOBLINGE developed the JOBLINGE Kompass program (see www.joblinge.de).

Siegwerk Büdingen GmbH has been working together with JOBLINGE gAG FrankfurtRheinMain for the past two years. In spring 2017, with the support of JOBLINGE, the first intern completed a six-month internship as a chemical production specialist at Siegwerk Büdingen GmbH. After successful completion, the intern could be employed as an apprentice.

Cooperation with JOBLINGEN will continue this year in order to offer young people employment opportunities. Following an interview and successfully completing a 4-week internship, a young person can start an apprenticeship at Siegwerk Büdingen GmbH from September.
