Siegwerk Türkiye hosts students from the Yıldız Technical University

Siegwerk Türkiye recently hosted the students from the Yıldız Technical University Chemical Technologies Club. The visit was both productive and enjoyable, providing students with a valuable opportunity to  explore the  laboratory and production processes, gain insights into the industry, and experience Siegwerk Türkiye first hand.

The program was enriched by the valuable contributions of the colleagues, each an expert in their own field. At the beginning of the day, a comprehensive overview of Siegwerk's Health, Safety and Environement (HSE) processes was delivered by Senior HSE Engineer, Cem Bağ. This was followed by a presentation on career paths and opportunities within the  company by HR Business Partner, Ecem Şimşek.

During the technical sessions, students had the opportunity to closely examine Siegwerk's laboratory and production operations. Şimal Gürlü, Laboratory Services Department Manager, introduced the Technology Laboratory and provided detailed insights into the ongoing work. Senior Research and Development Manager, Şule İnce then shared information about the innovative projects carried out in the R&D laboratory. On the production side, Senior Production Engineer, Enis Çoko guided the students through our Solvent Production Facility, while Production Executive, Güney Akçimen introduced them to Siegwerk Türkiye's on-site UV production facility.

Enriched with interactive sessions and site tours, the visit offered an inspiring experience with high levels of engagement and meaningful exchange  for everyone involved.
