Siegwerk Druckfarben opens subsidiary in the Netherlands
The Siegburg-based printing inks manufacturer, Siegwerk, is opening a sales subsidiary in the Netherlands on January 1, 2016. The new office will be located in Utrecht and will work closely together with the company’s existing subsidiary in Belgium.
The opening of the Dutch sales office takes the number of Siegwerk’s locations around the world to more than 70. The most recent Siegwerk subsidiary to be established was in Peru in 2014. “The new sales subsidiary in Utrecht will now enable us to make our products and solutions even more accessible to Dutch customers and enhance our local service capabilities”, says Hugo Noordhoek Hegt, President Packaging EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). “Customers benefit from having local contact persons and short communication channels.” In the last ten years, Siegwerk has managed to increase its share of the printing inks market for packaging in the Benelux countries significantly.
Siegwerk also provides an extensive range of services to complement its portfolio of printing inks for packaging. These services include among others on-site consulting, technical support, printing ink-related training and joint workshops designed to optimize customer processes continuously. Uniform standards at all production sites ensure high quality standards and consistent product safety around the world.
