Siegwerk Mexico gains ISO certification
As part of its strategic Plan 2013, Siegwerk Mexico has gained ISO 14001:2004 Certification for its plant in Toluca. “The move allows customers to be confident that Siegwerk’s production cycle is environment-friendly and aligns manufacturing in Mexico with the corporate standards of excellence stated in our vision, mission and values,” says Managing Director Javier Trevino.
After gaining ISO 9001 for quality management in 2008, Siegwerk Mexico has now also achieved ISO 14001. The certification was issued by the globally active business consultants Intertec. “We improved our processes to be able to provide a better quality and service level,“ Trevino adds. “Additionally, we managed that some of the waste materials involved can now be recycled for other purposes.”
