Siegwerk Philippines received the Child Care Champ Award for its support of the children and young adults in the country

Creativity makes a difference in how you interact with the your community. For 2021, the Siegwerk Philippine team conducted a unique and creative activity as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) actions in the country.
Partnering with Siegwerk’s global charity, SOS Children’s Villages, the first event was called SOS Uncle and Auntie for a Day. Because of ongoing Coronavirus concerns, Philippine employees connected via video conference with one of the SOS family homes to get to know the young adults and tour their home and SOS village. It was just one hour, but it gave our Siegwerker’s a look into the children’s lives and allowed the kids to learn a little bit more about what Siegwerk does as a company.
For their commitment to social projects and supporting the lives of hundreds of children and young adults, Siegwerk Philippines received the Child Care Champ Award in February 2021 from SOS Children’s Villages.
SOS said of Siegwerk’s commitment, “The past year has been a challenging year for all of us, and amidst all this, Siegwerk stayed true to its commitment and care for our children. Thanks to our dedicated child care front-liners and our gracious donors and partners – like you - SOS Children's Villages Philippines is able to continuously provide quality care to 993 children and youths” The support that Siegwerk provides means children receive food, health care, education, as well as a happy and stable place to call home.
