Siegwerk Argentina announces price increase for packaging inks

Faced with continued increases in the costs of the raw materials, Siegwerk has raised prices in all customer segments, specially in Flexible Packaging on average 8 -10 percent along the first quarter of 2011.

Siegwerk will continue to monitor the situation and may need to make further price adjustments in the short term as necessary.

"We regret to take this action, but the subsequent increases in cost for the raw materiales have placed us in a position where we are forced to raise our prices" said Ruben Neri, Flexible Packaging Business Unit Head. He continues: "We will continue to work closely with our customers to help them grow their business despite this challenging marketplace."
