Toothpaste by Colgate Palmolive
A shining impression ...
is what the UV-coated packaging for this Colgate toothpaste needed to make – all in a single pass on top of conventional inks, with no basecoat. Focusing on efficiency and competitiveness, Farmográfica, a specialist pharmaceuticals printer, chose Tempo Flash as an alternative to hybrid inks.
Working in close consultation with the Farmográfica team, the Siegwerk experts adapted the ink series to the special climate of Argentina.
While the process also offers higher productivity, the Colgate Palmolive print buyers were understandably far more interested in another benefit – the high-gloss result.

Motorsport illustrated book
Top-speed quality ...
is what this illustrated book called for. The book had to make a racy impression on readers, and also be suitable for high performance printing machines that print around 18,000 sheets per hour in premium quality. The Siegwerk experts developed Tempo Perfect for precisely these requirements. The ink permits ultra-fast printing together with high-gloss and also ensures sustainability because it is a vegetable-based composition. This performance delighted the printing team, and earned the publisher of this exquisite publication pole position with potential readers.
