The Siegwerk experts conducted extensive laboratory tests and dry runs on presses from major printing machine manufacturers before presenting this UV offset solution to Autajon, the French packaging printer. The challenge was to develop a UV ink series with excellent adhesion and rheology that can be used on both paper and non-absorbent substrates. The complex development work paid off: Even after the very first tests, the Autajon employees were impressed by the print characteristics, as well as the wide range of potential applications.
