is what the packaging customer required after the problems that arose with the usage of the ITX photoinitiators. More specifically, it needed a new ink series that would reduce migration sufficiently to meet organoleptic properties requirements, and still be suitable for use in high-efficiency workflows. And it needed it fast.
In just three months, the Siegwerk experts developed a truly innovative solution. The EBC4 ink series – the result of intensive cooperation between Siegwerk, its suppliers and the customer.

is what parents all over the world expect when they give their children soft drinks. That’s why the customer extends the safety requirements to the printing inks they are using. At the same time, production also needs to fulfil the demands of high-productivity packaging printing.
To meet these requirements, the Siegwerk experts developed the TS-600 ink series. These water-based inks allow to reach printing speeds of up to 600 m/min. while delivering consistently brilliant results: shorter makeready, higher quality, less waste ... for the customer's print technicians, this was a very refreshing solution indeed.
