… be safe and beneficial for individuals and for society
… fulfil market requirements with regard to performance and costs
… enable the use of renewable and recyclable materials wherever that is sensible or possible
… consist of materials that present no risks to humans
… be manufactured using environmentally friendly production technologies
… promote process efficiency at the printing stage, in their daily use, all the way to the recycling of the printed product.

Accordingly, a special program of action on this subject was launched in the spring of 2008. The company’s clear competence in the environmental and product safety sectors ensures the program will be implemented successfully. Thus, for example, Siegwerk has for many years chaired the technical commission of the European Printing Ink Association EuPIA and is similarly active in all other regions.
