Hugo Noordhoek Hegt

Hugo Noordhoek Hegt is member of the board at Siegwerk since September 2005 and responsible for Packaging EMEA within Siegwerk.

Born in 1961 in Amsterdam (Netherlands), Noordhoek Hegt obtained a Master’s degree in Law at the University of Leiden in 1986. He began his professional career in 1988 with the chemicals group Akzo Nobel as Assistant Secretary to the Board of Management in Arnhem (Netherlands). Two years later he transferred to operational business in various sales, marketing and district management positions at Akzo Nobel's Coatings Group. Noordhoek Hegt’s first foreign assignment came in 1995 in Beijing (China), where he assumed the function of Sales and Marketing Manager at the Dutch/Chinese joint venture Akzo Nobel Red Lion Coatings. In 1997 he took on the responsibility for Car Refinishes in North Asia, initially based in Singapore and two years later in Shanghai (China). In 2001, Noordhoek Hegt was appointed General Manager of Akzo Nobel Non-Stick Coatings headquartered in Chicago (USA). In 2005, he moved to SICPA Management SA in Lausanne (Switzerland), becoming Managing Director of the EMEA Packaging Ink Division.

Hugo Noordhoek Hegt is married and has three children.
