Herbert Forker

Herbert Forker is CEO of Siegwerk since August 2002. Forker joined Siegwerk in 1999 as chairman of the management board of Siegwerk Druckfarben GmbH & Co. KG, the predecessor company to Siegwerk.

Prior to his assignment at Siegwerk, Herbert Forker was President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tesa Tape Inc. in Charlotte, North Carolina (USA). Before his US assignment, Forker had accepted a management position at the Mexican Beiersdorf company in Mexico City and was responsible for the Beiersdorf subsidiaries of Jobst in Germany and Ireland. Forker began his professional career at the Beiersdorf AG headquarters in Hamburg (Germany) as assistant to the chairman of the management board. His responsibilities included controlling functions for e.g. Beiersdorf Tesa s.a. in Paris (France).

The Siegwerk CEO holds several leading positions in interest groups and associations of the industry. He is Chairman of the European Printing Ink Association, Member of the CEPE Board and first Vice Chairman of the German Printing Ink Industry Association, after having been its Chairman until November 2007.

Herbert Forker is married and has three children.
